CBT – Compulsory Basic Training
1 day compulsory training course required to allow the riding of mopeds, scooters and motorbikes.
Weekdays/Weekends – £120 Now £99 (including VAT)
A2 Restricted Access
Ride a motorbike up to 33BHP

Intensive training for a full, unrestricted motorcycle licence
CBT Test London
CBT Test
People may call it a CBT Test, but the CBT isn’t really a test as such. CBT is Compulsory Basic Training that has to be completed before you’re allowed out on the road on a motorbike.
There is no CBT Test. Instead you must demonstrate the ability to ride a motorbike or scooter safely. When you can do this you will receive a DL196 certificate of completion.
Motorbike and Motorcycle CBT Course London
A CBT is the first step towards a future of biking around London. Once you have your CBT, you can ride a 125cc motorbike or motorcycle on L-plates. You may decide to practise your riding and get a full licence so that you can ride a larger motorbike.

Scooter CBT Training London
London traffic increases all the time so scooters are gaining in popularity. You can ride a scooter up to 125cc on L-plates so long as you have a provisional motorcycle licence and a valid CBT certificate. A one day CBT training course is all you need to get on the road.

Moped CBT Test London
Full car driving licences issued before 1st February 2001 already provide full moped entitlement and do not require anything else.
If your full car driving licence was issued after 1st February 2001 then you need to complete a CBT in order to validate your full moped entitlement. In this case only, your CBT does not need to be renewed every two years. Your CBT and moped entitlement maintains its validity until your 70th birthday.
